Galatians 6:9My painting of HAT (Harvesting All [the] Time) on Sunday, August 29, examines the inevitable season of discouragement and the multiplicity of reasons why a sister may become fatigued in doing good. It is a sure thing for all Daughters of Destiny. Despite this, we should not live in any Pity Penthouse no matter how lovely it feels to our souls. Being mindful of God's Word in Galatians 6:9 is wise, sis. God won't disappoint you. In fact, the Right time is on its way. God said to tell you so! Remain encouraged. +PK

Mark 11:23Speak to The Mountain, a painting I created on Saturday, September 4, explores the stress and burnout experienced by overworked and frustrated sisters. Spiritual fatigue affects our bodies if we fail to develop healthy coping mechanisms. We should not, however, invest our energies and hopes in climbing mountains as a method of getting rid of mountains. It's wise to heed Mark 11:23, sis. God will never let you down. You are just a mouthful away from your miracle! Be wise with your hope. +PK

James 1:12The Victor's Crown of Life, a painting I completed on Monday, October 18, explores the power of faith and God's ability to deliver. While trials, tribulations, and testing aren't the favorite virgin mixed drinks of blessed sisters, they're often used to send our hips into a joyful dance. The domes of our temple will rock the crown destined for women who persevere and love their Lord. Remember James 1:12 always, sis. They will try to take you there, but you must remain steadfast on God's promises. The crown will be yours! +PK

John 3:2God-Revealing Acts, a painting I completed on Sunday, October 24, explores self-transcendence and Jesus' God-revealing acts. Lengthy waits, postponed dates, and destined pivots swing our hips to frequently dance the dance Jesus choreographed as He witnessed our sorrow. The day Jesus saw our tears, He wiped them away, and began whipping every tail that stood between us and eternity. Always remember John 3:2. Sis, our character's hips feel strained, dislocated during the COVID-19 outbreak. Yet, it's for our good. Dance to God's glory now!!! +PK

Psalm 84:10-12My Wednesday, January 6 painting focuses on those who refuse to live in palaces of sin so as to embrace livelihoods God shields and anoints constantly. During a pandemic, you might interpret wise financial decisions prompted by the Holy Spirit as commercials for a stingy All-Sufficient God. That's how God doesn't scrimp but prepares us to eat lavishly. Keep Psalm 84:10-12 in mind. If you feel restrained in God's Provision during the COVID-19 outbreak, know that it's a setup for you, A Smooth Sailing Sparrow. Glory to God!!! +PK

Psalm 19:14As we move closer to the freedom that only comes in God's Presence, my painting, What I Chew On & Pray, explores the chewy words that are often hard to swallow. As we chew on the words of our mouths while scrubbing clean of the grim of sin - missing the bull's eye of God's Will - we find and secure solace. From our heart at the morning altar we will be ready, equipped to be blessed both internally and eternally. Keep Psalm 19:14 in mind. God loves us even when we chew a mouthful of words that have our jaws aching in prayer. No matter what! +PK

Psalm 1:1-3My painting, At Every Turn, explores the path all righteous women must travel to reach their due season--from dusk to dawn. While we diligently remain focused on God's Word, we avoid judgment and sarcasm at every turn, trusting that our decision to stay planted will result in blessings that follow and await us. To reap joy for never-failing leaves and prosper in all we do, we are mindful of everything we say and do. Psalm 1:1-3 is a good reminder. At every turn, God will bless us, no matter how we feel. With my hula-hoop hips on roller skates, Hallelujah! +PK
